Very interesting. I’ve always been fascinated by the 60s propensity for cults. What you’re describing isn’t quite a “cult,” I don’t think, but it’s the same sort of idea. I enjoyed the story. I interviewed Willie Chambers of the Chambers Brothers (“time has come today”) not too long ago, and he had some interesting things to say about that whole scene, if you were interested (https://www.songfacts.com/blog/interviews/willie-chambers-of-the-chambers-brothers).

I’m curious, and no hard feelings if you’d prefer not to answer on a public board, but looking back now, seeing the effects of the 60s counterculture, seeing it’s effects on your own life, how do you feel about those lifestyle experiments and do you still they are a realistic, healthy alternative to the standard nuclear family type American dream?
