The first two Rockies were works of goddamn art. I always find it funny how people make fun of them for some reason. Whenever something becomes too big, there’s this weird cultural backlash that cuts it down.

That’s all nonsense. Rocky I and II are great films. Even knowing who Stallone is, with all his less than ideal role choices, his acting in that film is completely convincing. I love those movies. I love the American dream. I love the battle against the odds, the underdog story. These cynical modern times can kiss my ass. Love live Rocky!
