From the business world not the literary, but I listened to an entrepreneur who built a multi-million company recently. He said there were many days when he was crushed by the stress, just tired of everything, but learned that THOSE were precisely the days when you most have to show up, step out in front of your people, and lead.

I feel it’s the same with us as writers. Anyone can write on the good days. The winners are the ones who make themselves write on the bad days.
