One Serious Roadside Attraction
Dennis and Carlos were driving the desert highway when a bipedal lizard scrambled over the asphalt in front of the car and disappeared into brush on the other side.
Dennis hit the brakes. “Was that a miniature Tyrannosaurus rex?”
“Appeared to be.”
Following its tracks, they found it half a mile later standing in a huge earthen depression.
Dennis appraised the sunken ground. “That depression looks like a giant lizard’s foot.”
“Sure does,” Carlos said. “Absolutely gigantic.”
A massive shadow fell over them from behind.
Dennis gulped. “That’s not a miniature T-rex,” he said.
“That’s a baby.”
