I’m walking through the Viewmont Mall the day after flying into town when I see a man sitting on a bench near a smartphone kiosk. Camouflage hunting clothes cover him head-to-toe.
Leaf-patterned pants, coat, hood, and baseball cap. The whole deal.
On his lower right leg is a cast. On the bench beside him are crutches.
There’s a zero percent chance this man is going hunting today.
