It's such a sad and tragic thing how love nearly always turns into this petty backbiting and nonsense. Always? I don't know. Older I get, the more I suspect all relationships descend into this sad pattern. The only difference is whether or not the couple elects to "tough it out" or call it quits. Either way, misery.
