It’s strange how the study is presented with conclusions isolated from the opposite circumstance. The situation works in both directions.

In my office we are constantly trying to find a compromise. The temperature the women like is entirely too hot for me, and I can’t stand the high heat. Conversely, the temperature the other males and I like is too cold for the women.

So, we basically take turns, with one half snapping, turning it down/up, and then the other half putting up with it for as long as they can, snapping, reversing, etc. It’s endless. We all try to laugh about it, but it really is a perpetual annoyance for everyone, and at any given time, half the office is working under temperatures that don’t suit their best performance.
