p.s. I didn't grow up in Brazil but I grew up poor as dirt and working on farms. Your husband's perspective on things is exactly how I see them. It is too often in these modern times misconstrued as callousness, but to me it's just treating another human being with respect. I don't see women as fragile porcelain dolls that need to be coddled. anyway...thank you for publishing this. It could not have wandered into my screen at a better time.
