It does always amuse me when snooty professor types act as though someone without formal education could not possibly be intelligent or creative or eloquent. It amuses me primarily in how it reveals how much they overestimate their own intelligence and abilities. I’ve known plenty of people with impressive educational credentials who were completely unimpressive in their ability to think clearly, and most definitely in creative ability.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this poem.
