Interesting thing as I’ve gotten older is that when something really good is in my life, I consciously choose to savor it and write about it. all good things must come to an end, so more than ever I focus on embracing the good things while they are here, without developing an infantile obsession with making it last. It’s a balance that feels like the closest thing to wisdom I’ve ever felt.

Still, always there’s that threat of nihilism that comes with acknowledging the inevitability of impermanence.

Anyway, good writing, Stephen, thanks for the read.
