You’re right…it’s not just the words or the events the words describe, it’s the man as he represents himself in journals he knows other people will or at least may read. Fascinating meditation there.

Also interesting that your desire to push readers away makes you more interesting to read about. Strange paradox.

Great writing here. I may print your stuff out and put it together in a little binder for myself…I prefer reading on paper.
