I will read that book for sure. I’m glad you mention that about those acts, because I’ve also felt (as someone who was not alive then) that many of those bands seemed to get trapped in an image…they were “psychedelic” bands but when the scene shriveled up, they instantly became relics.

PBC’s “Good Times” is one of my favorite songs ever. Three Dog Night’s version is okay, but I think PBC’s is the best. It’s one of my beer-drinking tunes. It’s great to meet someone else who knows these bands and has devoted some time to thinking about them. I thought I was alone! ha. Salute to you, sir.
