I point this out to people all the time, but they generally get offended. I do a lot of stuff every day, from studying a couple languages to freelance gigs and creative stuff, on top of my day job, and honestly the only stress I feel is that I’m still leaving big gaps of time due to nothing more than poor discipline.

I am NOT one of these obsessive entrepreneur-cheerleader bros who likes to brag about being busy 25 hours a day and “go go go!” I just like to feel like I’m progressing daily in multiple areas of my life.

Anyway, my point is that people will usually say something like “you’ve got too much time on your hands” or “I wish I could do all that but I’m too busy.” Then they’ll talk about what they read on Facebook, or watched on TV, or did at the bar…

I don’t personally care how people spend their time, but in my observation, they are largely lying to themselves when they say they don’t have enough of it.

What I’ve found is that there is always room to take on a little more…time magically appears…the only limitation I’ve personally encountered is in my own discipline to do the things I take on on time.
