Ha! Not sure how much you care for mythology, but the Ancient Egyptians would not have found this surprising. Their “god” of primordial darkness was named Kek, and he/it was represented in various frog forms! ha!

This picture is interesting because it looks like the frog is propping up the weight of that lid with just his body…but I’m pretty taht would crush him, eh?

Anyway, neat pic and the story made me snicker :)
