You know, I recently interviewed Alan Lee Brackett of the Peanut Butter Conspiracy, who were in the same L.A. psychedelic scene as the Doors. They were pretty damn good, far as I can tell, and shared billing with the Doors, Jefferson Airplane, etc. Things just didn’t quite work out.

Brackett’s been releasing a bunch of his old stuff lately and is trying to get word out. It’s good music. Some of it is too much a product of its time and sounds sort of hokey now, but most of it is damn good damn tunes in my humble opinion.
